Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. What we sell

Digital products: data reports delivered as files, and recurring access to data. Nothing is shipped. Delivery happens by email or by download link, normally immediately after payment clears.

2. The specification guarantee

We do not offer a change of mind refund, and we say so plainly. A data product is consumed the moment it is read. What we do offer is stronger where it matters:

Full refund if the report does not deliver what is promised: at least 300 beauty stores on Shopify, variant level prices and stock availability, and a source snapshot with a date behind every number. No questions about the findings themselves, the guarantee covers what the report contains, not whether you like what the data says.

Covered

  • Fewer stores than promised
  • Missing variant level prices or availability
  • Numbers without a dated source snapshot
  • A file that cannot be opened or delivered

Not covered

  • The findings are not the ones you hoped for
  • A competitor changed its prices after the snapshot date
  • You no longer need the report after reading it
  • Promotional prices shown by storefront apps rather than the public catalogue

3. How to claim

Write to hello@smartikadata.com within 14 days of delivery, quote your order reference, and describe which part of the specification was not met. We answer within three business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days. Payment provider fees are not deducted from your refund.

4. Before a sale, you see a sample

Every buyer receives a real extract of the product, roughly ten stores with genuine data in the final format, before paying. The sample exists so that expectations are set by evidence rather than by description.

5. Recurring access

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and take effect at the end of the paid period. Access continues until that date. We do not refund the unused part of a period already started, and we do not charge again after cancellation.

6. Consumers in the European Union

We sell to businesses. If you buy as a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for digital content. Because delivery is immediate, we ask for your express consent to begin delivery straight away, which ends that right once delivery has started. The specification guarantee in section 2 continues to apply regardless.

7. Card disputes

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. A refund we can approve directly is faster than a chargeback, and a conversation usually resolves the matter in a single email.
